Rhinestone Roundup raises $50,000 for Sunshine Kids

Press Release Body: Nearly 300 participants boot scooted the evening away at the Bay Area Community Center, raising $50,000 for The Sunshine Kids Foundation at the Rhinestone Roundup. Event co-chair and manager of Prudential Gary Greene, Realtors' Bay Area office, Debra Blenderman, commented "not only was it a fun evening, but with the unbelievable team effort, it turned into a wonderful party and we raised a lot of money for a great cause."
Donations came from big-hearted bidders on the silent auction tables, ticket sales, plus sponsorships and contributions from the agents' broad network of business partners, vendors, friends and family.
A miniature Schnauzer puppy was the highlight of the live auction and sold for $625. DJ MicT entertained the crowd with a variety of music including country-western favorites, crossover tunes, oldies and current music to keep the party going. Tom Fontaine of 100.3 KILT Radio emceed the event.
Contributing to the success of the event were an unprecedented number of agents and staff participating in the planning and execution of Rhinestone Roundup. A big thank you goes out to Demeris Catering for supplying the Texas Bar-B-Q.
